If you need to cancel your booking due to Coranavirus ie. having the virus yourself or being unable to travel due to national or county lockdowns we can offer you the following options:

1. Amend your dates

Where your future dates are available, and Norah’s Cottage agrees to the change, customers will be able to change the date of their booking without being charged any further fees.

The future dates must be confirmed prior to the current booking being cancelled.

Any increase in the cost of the holiday will be charged to the customer.

Once a booking has been amended, it is deemed to be a new booking, and the original booking is deemed to be cancelled. Our standard terms and conditions will apply to the new booking.

 2. Choose a credit Voucher

The credit voucher will be valid for a holiday taken before Dec 31st 2021.

The credit voucher must be used at the time of placing a new booking and will be discounted from the total booking amount. It will deduct from the balance payment on the booking.

Once a credit voucher is issued to a guest, the original booking is deemed to be cancelled. Our standard terms and conditions will apply to the new booking.

Holiday Insurance

The Hirer is strongly advised to arrange holiday insurance that includes cover for cancellation and the personal property of the Hirer.

Cleaning

The property must be left clean and tidy, all equipment and utensils etc must be clean and put away at the end of the hire period. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, guests are requested to place all plates, cups, glasses and cutlery in the dishwasher and set this to clean on vacating the cottage, to help ensure items are sanitised for our next guests

Bins & Recycling

There are two bins in the kitchen under the sink area, 1 for recycling, 1 for general rubbish. The hirer must ensure that they divide rubbish accordingly. Rubbish bags must be tied appropriately and disposed in the corresponding wheely bins outside.

Environmental Considerations

The Hirer should at the end of their stay, turn all the lights off, turn electrical appliances off at the wall. Heating is to be used for the comfort of guests at Norah’s Cottage. Heating should not be left on needlessly when the property is vacant.

Norah’s Cottage may repossess the property at any time and terminate the hire of the property, where the Hirer or any member of the Hirer’s party has caused excessive noise or damage or is found or reasonably suspected to be conducting themselves in an illegal, offensive or immoral fashion, or are causing a nuisance to other persons. In such circumstances the Hirer shall not be entitled to any refund of the hire price of the property.

Rental charges include bed linen and towels  for use during your stay. Beds will be made up prior to your arrival and linen and towels will be changed at the end of each rental. Guests staying for longer than two weeks will receive fresh linen and towels and a general sparkle clean of the house weekly.

Care of the Property

The Hirer / Client / Guest / Visitors shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as was found at the beginning
